Knight Note is built around local-first note taking. This page covers the public website, support contact flow, and commercial licensing endpoints hosted for Knight Note.
What we collect
We only collect information that is necessary to operate the public website, reply to support requests, process purchases, and issue licenses.

- Purchase and licensing details such as order ids, email addresses, plan selection, license status, and related receipt metadata.
- Basic server logs needed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability monitoring.
What stays on your device
Your note content, local vault data, and offline workspace remain on your device unless you explicitly choose a sync provider or send data through a public form or payment flow.
How information is used
- To answer support, sales, and licensing questions.
- To create, capture, and verify commercial license purchases.
- To protect the service against fraud, abuse, or operational failures.
Third-party services
Knight Note may rely on payment providers, hosting providers, DNS providers, and email delivery tools that process the minimum information required to complete those tasks.
