Website use

You may use the public website for lawful evaluation, downloads, support, and communication related to Knight Note.

Free desktop app

Knight Note includes local vaults, AI Memory, MCP workflows, encrypted cloud sync, recordings, sharing, plugins, and supported provider workflows for free. Older license keys may still be recognized for compatibility, but they are not required for feature access. Custom branding is available by request through support rather than through a self-serve settings panel.

Your data and backups

Knight Note stores local vault data on your device and can optionally sync encrypted vault data or recording files through third-party cloud providers. You are responsible for keeping independent backups of data you cannot afford to lose, especially before enabling sync, changing providers, deleting vault content, reinstalling the app, or using beta and advanced workflows.

Cloud sync and providers

Cloud sync, sharing, recordings storage, and restore behavior depend on third-party providers, local device state, network availability, user permissions, and provider APIs. Knight Note includes safeguards, diagnostics, and recovery features, but no software can guarantee that conflicts, provider outages, hardware failure, malware, operating-system issues, credential loss, accidental deletion, or user configuration mistakes will never affect data.

Recordings and sharing

If you create recordings or public share links, you are responsible for the content you record, the people or data visible in the recording, and the recipients you share it with. Provider permissions and public-link behavior can differ by cloud provider.

Acceptable use

• Do not abuse the API, download endpoints, or support forms.
• Do not attempt to bypass provider permissions, security checks, or access controls.
• Do not use Knight Note services for unlawful activity.

Availability

Knight Note may update, improve, suspend, or remove parts of the public website, download flow, or support flow as the product evolves.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knight Note is provided without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from data loss. You use the app, sync features, AI workflows, recording features, and third-party provider connections at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knight Note and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost business, or provider-side failures arising from use of the app or services.
